Step 1: Create a Free Canva Account

Go to canva.com and sign up for a free account. You don't need Canva Pro — all of our templates are designed to work with the free version.

Step 2: Open Your Template Link

After purchasing, you'll receive an instant download with a PDF inside. Open the PDF and click the Canva link — it will open the template directly in your Canva account.

Step 3: Edit the Text

Click on any text to select it, then type to replace it with your loved one's name, dates, and personal details. All text fields are fully editable.

Step 4: Add a Photo

Click the photo placeholder, then choose Upload media to add a photo from your device. Canva will place it automatically in the frame.

Step 5: Customize Colors and Fonts (Optional)

Most colors and fonts can be changed by selecting the element and using the toolbar at the top. Stick to the existing design for the most polished result, but feel free to make it your own.

Step 6: Download and Print

When you're happy with your program, click Share → Download and choose PDF Print for the best quality. Take it to FedEx, Staples, or your local print shop — or print at home.
